I use bourbon or whiskey barrel staves to create these bottle openers. A perfect present for the whiskey/bourbon and beer lover.
The wood is oak - what American Bourbon barrels are made from. It is extremely durable and has a great feel and weight as a bottle opener.
I sand all sides and edges to create a comfortable handle while retaining the actual shape of the stave. All bottle openers are finished in a light protective finish.
Sizes are approximate - each stave is unique and slightly varies in size.

Thickness ~1” - 1.75”
There will be a slight natural curve to it from the barrel.
Each piece is unique and some may include markings or various wear and tear marks. These will not impact the life or functionality of the bottle opener.
