An outdoor planter made from a whiskey or wine barrel. I secure the metal bands with additional screws to keep the metal bands from falling off. This provides much more durability and longevity to the barrel.
An external layer of polyurethane is added to the outside of the barrel, providing extra protection against aging and weather. Several one inch drain holes are drilled on the bottom of the barrel for water to escape.
